Metal Fabricator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components based on technical drawings and specifications. Basic welding skills are required to assist in the assembly and joining of fabricated parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Measure, mark, cut, and shape metal components using hand tools, saws, presses, and other equipment.
- Assemble metal parts using bolts, rivets, clamps, or welds as required.
- Perform basic welding (MIG, TIG, or stick) to join materials during fabrication.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet dimensional and visual standards.
- Operate fabrication machinery such as drill presses, grinders, and rollers.
- Assist with fitting and installation of fabricated items on-site or within the facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Support inventory control by reporting material usage and shortages.
