Bajada Lyons Group Expands Portfolio with Strategic Investment in Commercial Laundry Services

Bajada Lyons Group  is pleased to announce its latest strategic investment: JMB Laundry , a well-established commercial laundry facility operating from Bulebel Industrial Estate. This acquisition marks an important expansion into ancillary services supporting the group’s existing hospitality and healthcare ventures.

Strategic Rebranding and Growth Plans

As part of this investment, JMB Laundry will undergo a comprehensive rebranding, emerging as Fresh Folds. This new identity reflects the company’s commitment to exceptional quality and service reliability in commercial laundry operations.

The facility primarily services the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) sector and healthcare institutions across Malta, providing essential linen management services to some of the island’s most demanding industries.

Natural Expansion for BL Group’s Hospitality Portfolio

This acquisition represents a natural progression for Bajada Lyons Group, which already manages substantial laundry requirements through its hospitality and healthcare establishments. By bringing these services in-house, the group aims to enhance quality control whilst potentially reducing operational costs.

As part of the investment plan, Bajada Lyons Group will implement enhanced sustainability measures within the laundry operation, focusing on water reclamation, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly detergent solutions.
