Senior Architect

Role: Execute independently architectural and civil designs, permitting and construction management support activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities and draft all technical documentation for architectural / civil projects;

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs of different buildings typology;

• Architectural layouts study and development;

• Technical specification;

• Bill of quantity ant estimated material take off;

• Technical reports and requests for quotes from external suppliers;

• Technical and economical evaluation and alignment of suppliers bids;

• Site inspections and field surveys.

• Coordination of other architectural / civil specialists and drafters and / or external suppliers;

• Building permits application including:

• Relationships and contacts with Authorities;

• Development and drafting of technical documentation for permits request;

• Issues of documentations to competent offices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture;

• Experience in technical design offices or engineering companies;

• Experience in industrial and pharmaceutical field and / or in other sectors;

• Valid driver’s license (Category B).

Knowledge:

• Technical knowledge of architecture and civil works;

• Design and EPCM activities;

• General knowledge of civil construction technologies;

• GEP (Good Engineering Practices);

• Strung knowledge of current urbanistic Malta regulations and building code;

• Microsoft Office and Autodesk AutoCAD

• Software for 3D modelling and rendering are very appreciated;

• Autodesk REVIT knowledge is very appreciated.

• Problem-solving skills.

Languages:

• Fluent English (C1/C2);

• Fluent Italian is appreciated;

• Other languages are a plus.
