Guest Service Agent
Palazzo Ignazio, a prestigious boutique hotel in Malta, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team, available for both full and part-time positions.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests
- Registers guests upon check-in and assigned rooms providing a seamless service to the guest, accommodating special requests where possible, and assisting guests in completing the registration cards
- Shows guests to their rooms and does hotel tours and show-around
- Works closely with the housekeeping team in coordinating room statuses
- Manages guest check-out procedures including processing payments and settling guest accounts seamlessly and correctly
- Takes reservations for room bookings
- Advises guests on local questions, activities, and events
- Deals with guest complaints effectively and escalates to management as necessary
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or take messages as required
- Take up other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and other languages
- Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ready to work night shifts
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of PMS systems (Opera, Room Management, etc)
- A Diploma in Hospitality/Accommodation Operations or equivalent will be considered an asset
Whilst previous experience will be considered an asset training will be given.
